This Privacy Policy explains what information Craftomorrow (“Craftomorrow”, “we”, “us”) collects when you visit craftomorrow.com (the “Site”), download our free resources or buy our digital products, how we use that information, and the choices you have. If you have any question about it, email us at business@craftomorrow.com.
Who we are
Craftomorrow is an independent publisher of practical tools, research and digital products, operated from Bengaluru, India. For the purposes of data-protection law, Craftomorrow is the controller of the personal information described in this policy, except where we say a third party (such as Google, Lemon Squeezy or Gumroad) acts as an independent controller.
Information we collect
Information you give us
- Email address – when you request a free download, join our email list or submit a form on the Site.
- Messages – anything you include when you email us or use a contact form (for example your name and the content of your message).
- Purchase details – when you buy a product, the payment provider shares with us your name, email address, the product purchased, the price paid, your country and the order reference. We never receive or store your full card or bank details.
Information collected automatically
- Device and usage data – IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, referring page, pages viewed, time spent and approximate location (country/city) derived from your IP address.
- Cookies and similar technologies – small files or identifiers stored on your device by us and by third parties such as Google. See “Cookies and your choices” below.
- Server logs – our hosting provider (Hostinger) automatically records technical request data for security and troubleshooting.
How we use your information
- To deliver the free resources and products you request, and to send you download links.
- To send our email newsletter, if you signed up for it (you can unsubscribe at any time).
- To reply to your messages and provide customer support, including refund requests.
- To understand how the Site is used so we can improve our content and tools.
- To show advertising that helps keep our tools and articles free.
- To keep the Site secure, prevent fraud and spam, and comply with legal, tax and accounting obligations.
Legal bases (EEA, UK and Switzerland visitors): we rely on your consent for advertising and analytics cookies and for marketing emails; on performance of a contract to deliver products you buy or request; on our legitimate interests to run, secure and improve the Site and answer enquiries; and on legal obligation to keep transaction records.
Advertising
The Google advertising disclosures below apply if Google ads are enabled on the Site; they do not mean that Google has approved this Site for AdSense. Google and its partners use advertising cookies (historically referred to as DoubleClick/DART cookies) to serve ads based on prior visits to this and other websites. Where Google ads are served, additional ad vendors may also use cookies. Consult the vendor information in the applicable consent message and the privacy links below.
- Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this Site and/or other sites on the internet.
- You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google’s My Ad Center / Ads Settings. You can also opt out of some third-party vendors’ use of cookies for personalized advertising at www.aboutads.info/choices or, in Europe, www.youronlinechoices.eu.
- Where you have not consented to personalized ads, Google may still show non-personalized ads, which use cookies or device storage for purposes such as frequency capping, aggregated ad reporting and combating fraud and abuse.
- Learn more in How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services, Google’s Advertising policy page and the Google Privacy Policy.
Meta (Facebook and Instagram) advertising pixel
We use the Meta Pixel, provided by Meta Platforms, Inc. and Meta Platforms Ireland Limited, to measure how well our Facebook and Instagram ads work and to show our ads to people who have visited the Site. When the Pixel is active, Meta may receive your IP address, browser and device details, the page you viewed, and events such as viewing a product, clicking through to checkout, requesting a free download or completing a purchase (product ID, price and currency). Meta may set cookies (such as _fbp) and link this information to your Facebook or Instagram account under Meta’s own terms.
We do not send Meta your name, email address, phone number or payment details, and we do not use Meta’s Conversions API. The Pixel does not run on checkout, account or download-verification pages, or on pages for products aimed at students.
- Visitors in the EU, EEA, UK and Switzerland: the Pixel stays off unless you choose Enable Meta ad tracking at the bottom of any page. You can withdraw that consent at any time with the same button.
- Visitors elsewhere: the Pixel is on by default. You can switch it off at any time with Disable Meta ad tracking at the bottom of any page; this also deletes Meta’s cookies from your browser.
- If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track signal, the Pixel never runs.
- Your choice is stored in your browser for up to six months. Learn more in Meta’s Privacy Policy and manage ad preferences in your Meta Accounts Center.
Analytics – Google Analytics, Site Kit and Microsoft Clarity
We use Google Analytics 4, connected through Google’s Site Kit plugin for WordPress, to measure how visitors use the Site (for example which pages are popular and how people arrive). Google Analytics uses cookies and collects device and usage data. We also use Google Search Console and PageSpeed Insights to monitor search performance and page speed; these tools do not place extra cookies on your device. You can prevent Google Analytics from using your data by installing the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
We also use Microsoft Clarity to understand how visitors interact with the Site through behavioral metrics, heatmaps and session replays. Clarity may collect page interactions, clicks, scrolling, device information and identifiers using cookies and similar technologies. Microsoft may use this information to provide its services and Microsoft Advertising. See the Microsoft Privacy Statement and Clarity privacy information. Do not enter sensitive information into optional feedback or review fields.
Cookies and your choices
We use the following categories of cookies:
- Strictly necessary – required for the Site to work, for security and for remembering your consent choices. These cannot be switched off.
- Analytics – Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity cookies and identifiers that help us understand Site usage.
- Advertising – Cookies and identifiers from enabled advertising networks and their partners, used to serve, personalize and measure ads.
Consent: where a consent message or privacy control is available, use it to manage your choices. You can also block or delete cookies through your browser settings and use the provider opt-out links above. Browser cookie controls do not necessarily prevent all network requests or all forms of tracking. For help with a privacy request, contact us using the details below. This policy explains data use; it does not itself obtain consent or certify that a particular consent-management platform is installed.
Email subscribers and free downloads
When you request a free resource or join our list, we store your email address and the date you signed up in our website database, which is hosted by Hostinger. We use it to send you the resource you asked for and, if you opted in, occasional emails with new resources and articles. We use Brevo to deliver requested resources and subscription emails. Your email address and relevant subscription or delivery information are shared with Brevo for these purposes. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link, and you can also ask us to delete your address at any time by emailing us.
Payments – Lemon Squeezy and Gumroad
Paid products are sold through Lemon Squeezy and Gumroad. When you check out, you provide your payment information directly to them, and they process it under their own privacy policies. Lemon Squeezy acts as the merchant of record for sales it processes, which means it handles payment, invoicing and sales tax. We receive the order details listed above so we can deliver your product and support you.
Embedded content from other websites
Articles on the Site may include embedded content (for example YouTube videos, images or social posts). Embedded content behaves exactly as if you had visited the other website: that website may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking and monitor your interaction with the embedded content, including if you have an account and are logged in to that website.
Comments
If comments are open and you leave one, we collect the data shown in the comment form, your IP address and browser user-agent string to help detect spam. An anonymized string created from your email address (a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to check if you use it (Gravatar privacy policy).
Who we share information with
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers that help us run the Site and our business, and only as needed:
- Hostinger – website hosting and server logs.
- Google – analytics, search and performance tools, and advertising where enabled.
- Meta – ad measurement and audiences through the Meta Pixel, subject to your choice above.
- Lemon Squeezy and Gumroad – payments, invoicing, tax and product delivery.
- Brevo – email delivery and subscription management; Microsoft Clarity – usage analytics and session replays.
- Authorities or advisers – where required by law, to enforce our terms, or to protect our rights and the safety of others.
Some of these providers process data outside your country, including in the United States and India. Where the law requires it, these transfers are protected by appropriate safeguards such as the providers’ standard contractual clauses.
How long we keep information
- Email-list data – until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it; removed from our active records within 30 days of that request.
- Messages and support emails – up to 24 months after the conversation ends.
- Purchase records – for as long as tax and accounting laws require (generally up to 8 years).
- Analytics data – according to our Google Analytics retention setting (no longer than 14 months for user-level data).
- Comments – kept indefinitely unless you ask us to remove them.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of your personal information; to object to or restrict certain processing; to withdraw consent at any time (without affecting processing already carried out); and to lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority. This includes rights under the EU and UK GDPR, the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection, U.S. state privacy laws such as the California Consumer Privacy Act (we do not sell personal information for money; where the law treats personalized advertising cookies as “sharing”, you can opt out using the ad-settings links above), and India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
To exercise any of these rights, email business@craftomorrow.com. We will respond within 30 days and may need to verify your identity first.
Security
We use HTTPS across the Site, keep our software updated and limit access to personal data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children’s privacy
The Site is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Significant changes will be highlighted on the Site.
