A shopping list that automatically groups items by supermarket aisle.
This tool works directly in your browser. Your entries stay on your device.
What it does
A shopping list that sorts itself into the order of the shop. Type items in as they occur to you, and the list files each one into an aisle — produce, dairy, bakery, tins, frozen and so on — so you walk the shop once instead of three times.
How to use it
- Add items one per line or separated by commas. Quantities are fine — “2 tins chopped tomatoes” works.
- Check the aisle groups. If an item has landed in the wrong aisle, tap its tag and move it. The list remembers your choice next time.
- Use Staples to add the things that always run out — milk, bread, eggs — in one tap.
- In the shop, tick items as they go in the basket. Afterwards, clear the ticked items or untick everything to reuse the list.
Tips
- Aisle guesses are based on the item name, and every shop is laid out differently, so a few minutes moving tags the first time makes every later trip faster.
- Keep one list open on your phone during the week and add to it the moment something runs out.
- Planning meals first cuts impulse buys. The Recipe Scaler helps you adjust recipes to the number of people eating, so you buy the right amounts.
